Here is some information that we hope will make your first visit with us a wonderful experience:
When is Sunday School?
Sunday School begins at 9:45am. We currently have one class that meets in theMary McInnis Room. Sunday School ends at 10:30am, which begins an informal time of fellowship where people meet and talk around and in the kitchen.
When is Worship?
Our weekly morning Worship Service begins at 11:00am. During your visit you will find a guest card in the pew rack...please take a moment to fill it out and place it in the offering plate in order that we may share our joy in having you here.
What Should I Wear?
Visitors are sometimes concerned about what to wear. For our congregation it is not what you wear, but that you are there. You will find suit and ties to blue jeans...dresses to khakis. We care more about you joining us in fellowship and worship.
What About Children?
Children are a very important part of our worship service and are welcome and encouraged to be in worship at Galatia Presbyterian Church. Following the Children's Message at the beginning of worship, youngsters ages four through fifth grade are invited attend Children's Church. We have a wonderful Children's Church program, led by our energetic Director of Children's Ministries, Jenna Gilchrist. For those who choose to keep your children with you, we do provide activity bags that you are welcome to use during worship. They are located in the narthex (front area) as you enter.

We are pleased to offer nursery care for infants and toddlers. It is provided in the Nursery which is located behind and to the left of the Sanctuary. A wide variety of toys and entertainment awaits your toddler. Rockers and cribs are available for infants. Audio of the morning Worship Service is also available in the Nursery if you would like to stay with your little one. |
